Affiliate and commission disclosure

The short version

Some links from this site to payment providers earn us a commission if you sign up. Those links are marked, and routed through /go/ so they can be tracked. Commission has no effect on which providers we list, how they score, where they rank, or what you pay.

How we make money

  • Referral commissions — some providers pay us when a merchant we referred activates. Rates vary and are negotiated per provider.
  • Sponsored placement — providers can pay for a labelled slot on category, country and industry pages. These sit outside the ranked list and carry rel="sponsored".
  • Platform access — paid tiers on the API and MCP server for high-volume automated use.

We do not sell payment processing, and we do not operate a house provider.

Why the ranking is safe from it

Not as a promise, but structurally: the matching engine has no access to commercial fields. It does not read featured status, affiliate URLs, or the sponsorship table. An automated test scores the same provider with and without paid status and fails if the results differ.

A provider that pays us nothing can and does outrank one that pays us well. If you find a case that looks otherwise, tell us and we will publish the explanation.

What this means for you

You pay nothing, and you are not charged more for using a commission-bearing link — provider pricing to you is identical either way. If you would rather not use one, every provider's own website address is on its profile page.
